Privacy Policy

This policy explains the local tools, studio drafts and optional private AI generation pilot in Photo2Reel.

Browser-local processing

The local slideshow maker processes selected photos and optional audio in your browser. Its preview and video export do not upload your media to an AI provider. Refreshing or closing that tool clears its temporary project data.

Saved studio drafts

Saving a studio draft stores its selected images, scene prompts, captions and planned destinations in this browser’s IndexedDB. These drafts persist after closing the page. They can be removed through the project list or by clearing this website’s browser storage. Exported JSON briefs may contain the images and text; keep those files private if the source material is private.

Optional private AI generation

AI generation is a separate owner-only pilot and is unavailable until the server is configured. Requesting an estimate sends the selected image and combined prompt to Photo2Reel for validation and hashing. The image is not stored in the studio database. The database stores prompts, image hashes, estimates, project limits, task IDs, task status and provider output links. These records remain until the owner removes them from the database.

Confirming generation sends the selected image and prompt to Runway to create a chargeable video task. Runway’s own terms and privacy policy apply to its processing and retention. The provider API key stays on the server. A separate private studio access token is entered by the owner and is not saved in browser storage. No social account authorization or automatic social publishing is currently implemented.

Website hosting

Photo2Reel is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The hosting service may process basic technical information needed to deliver, secure, and diagnose the website, such as an IP address, browser type, request time, and security data.

Third-party advertising providers may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to show and measure ads, subject to their own privacy policies and applicable consent requirements.
